Always on display not on display during a workout??

On my previous Fitbit, Versa 3, when I selected the always on display function and began a yoga workout, my exercise stats would stay on my watch face and I could glance over at any time to see my heart rate zone etc.  I've upgraded to the Sense 2 and it appears that the always on display feature no longer applies during a workout?? It keeps changing to a clock face and takes quite a few attempts to turn my wrist to actually view my stats. This is very difficult to do especially during a power yoga session when both arms are typically being utilized. Is this a glitch or is that function since been removed with the upgraded watch? I have an android phone in case that matters.

In order to have an AOD with your exercise stats, you have to activate this function for each exercise individually:

Thank you this worked! I looked back over the online manual and don't see this there anywhere. Would be a great addition so users now where to find this function.
