App won't sign in and time is behind

I had a Fitbit account before Google took over and now the app asks if I want to sign in with Fitbit or Google, so of course I choose Fitbit. Instead of signing me in it just goes to the animated Fitbit logo forever.

I need to be able to sync my watch because right now the time is behind and I don't know why. It started a few days ago when I noticed one of my alarms going off late.

Hi @marilynxmonster - try restarting the phone as a first step and login with your usual account.

@marilynxmonster - if the watch ran out of battery or was turned off the time can be wrong. If it is just wrong by minutes then it is probably faulty.

To check, once you get it synced and on the correct time, turn off the phone's Bluetooth for a day, so it can't sync, and see how much time it loses. A good watch may lose some seconds per month.
