I have an Apple phone running iOS 18.4.1 and since last week’s Fitbit firmware update to the Sense 2 watch, the phone with line through it symbol shows up often, indicating the Bluetooth connection is dropped (when watch is on wrist and phone is on hand near Wi-Fi router - not out of range).
I don’t mind the symbol itself showing on the watch (and I don’t want to turn off signal notifications on the watch) - the issue is that the Bluetooth connection is indeed dropped from the watch to the phone and this makes Apps like Google Maps and On-Wrist Calls not work most often (unstable).
I find it to be true that the phone Fitbit app Location needs to be “Always” (on phone go to Settings, Apps, Fitbit, Location - change to Always) for Apps like the Weather and data syncing to work consistently.
My issue is how unstable the Bluetooth connection is between the phone and the watch since the April watch firmware update (and this new symbol appearing of a phone with line through it is reflecting that). Or has it always been unstable and there was no symbol to show it before this last update?
Will there be a new firmware update soon to fix this instability? I’m new to Fitbit so not aware how often these updates occur. Thanks, in advance, for any info.

I’m having the same issue and have tried all the fixes. When I sync the tracker, the symbol on the tracker goes away but when I close out of the app and check the tracker 20 minutes later, the symbol is there.
