I bought a new Fitbit a few weeks ago, and it didn't work properly from the very start which I reportet right away. After endless back and forth they agreed to replace it, and now are sending a refurbished one. Sorry if that seems petty, but I don't think it's acceptable to charge me full price for a new, not working watch, and then not replace it with a new one. I'd see the point if I had had it for a year, but it was 2 weeks. I am defenitely never going back to Fitbit again after this one inevitably will break within the next 10months, it's really just a scam at this point.

Hi @NoahKl it's unfortunate that this happened to you, but Fitbit does try to send new products out when they have them in the warehouse to give them.

They are a massive corporation, why would they need to send a refurbished watch after I return a brand new one I paid full price for? There is no way they don't have thousands of new ones. I get it's important to recycle this stuff but not when I pay full price, and get a faulty product, return within two weeks, and this is my replacement. That's just not acceptable.

My new FitBit Sense 2 worked great for 3 weeks. Went to charge it and it stopped syncing. Google agreed to replace it. I was advised to send everything back, which I did. Today, I received the replacement -- a refurbished device and nothing else. Currently on with the THIRD Google Support person. Hoping to get a replacement band and charger. As for the whole refurbished thing, I got "When it comes to refurbished devices, depending on available inventory, we might send a factory-certified refurbished product as a replacement as stated in our warranty. These are typically products that were returned to Fitbit unused." I clarified that "refurbished" does not mean unused. Then I got, "I get your point. The product is tested and determined to work like new, with minimal wear and tear." Thus, I pointed out that "like new" is not the same as new. Ugh.
