Can't install Google Wallet on my Sense 2

Hi - my new Sense 2 has never given me the option of Google Wallet but does allow Fitbit Pay. I’m using an iPhone. Everything is up to date.

I’ve had multiple discussions with Fitbit Support and they told me to wait 24 hours, log out/in on the app, restart the app and the watch. I’d tried all these anyway. I also reset the watch but no joy.

Fitbit Support told me they would email me and never did. I contacted them again and was told that at some point I selected Fitbit Pay and it can’t be changed ☹️ I have no recollection of this, Google Wallet was one of the reasons I bought it. They are continuing to look into it but at this point I’m likely going to return the Sense 2 and buy something non Fitbit.

This is beyond frustrating. I have no doubt there’s a setting on my account that can be changed but they can’t or won’t do it.

Has anyone seen something similar or been able to fix it?

Thanks

"New" - wait a few days for a firmware update.

Thanks. I’ve had it over a week now. I don’t think it’s going to appear at this point. Multiple support sessions have confirmed this.

They've got it backwards about Fitbit Pay can't be changed. I have Fitbit Pay and they keep asking me to switch to Google Wallet.  It's the other way from what you were told; can't go from Google Wallet back to Fitbit Pay.

Sorry, guess I'm no help.

The support team don’t care. They just suggest logging out of the app and want to end the chat.

This is probably the worst tech experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m returning it. I’m not wasting more of my time on this. I’ll buy a smart watch from another company.
