Changed time zones

I change time zones relatively often. I changed time zones two days ago and cannot get my Sense 2 to change. A lot of the help for this seems outdated and are not working (the options are no longer available). Please help.

Fitbit staff - You really need to fix this! Updating the time zone should be either super simple or automatic.

Hi @TampaShaw. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Sense 2 and the attempts in order to fix it on your own.

If you changed time zones and the time on your device is still incorrect after syncing, confirm that the time zone in the Fitbit app is correct.

Manually sync your Fitbit device:

  1. With your device nearby, open the Fitbit app.
  2. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app, touch and hold the screen, and pull down to sync your Fitbit device.
  3. If the time is still incorrect, continue with the steps below. If you encounter a sync error message, go to Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.

If you already migrated to a Google account, please:

  1. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture  Fitbit settings.
  2. In the App Settings section, tap Date, time & units.
  3. Tap Time Zone.
  4. Turn off the Set Automatically option and choose the correct time zone.
  5. Sync your Fitbit device.
  6. If the time is still incorrect, log out of the Fitbit app, and then log back in before syncing again.
