Years ago I had a charge 2, which I liked but it was too uncomfortable to sleep with and it gave me such anxiety about my sleep that it actually caused insomnia for me.
I want to get a new Fitbit now, I’m thinking about the Sense 2 because I’m interested in the stress tracking features, but I think this and many of the other ‘extra’ features require you to sleep wearing the watch? Is that correct? Maybe I should get a more basic version if these features are essentially useless to me? I’m mainly interested in tracking steps, heart rate, workouts, calories burned etc.

Hello @c1adde and welcome to the Community. This Help article describes Fitbit's stress management features: How do I track and manage stress with my Fitbit device? The Stress Management Score is a feature that is available on several different current models. It's a holistic score. You must wear it to sleep to get a score. Your sleep time and quality are part of the score. The Sense 2 has a Body response feature that uses a continuous EDA sensor (electrodermal response). I don't know if wearing the Sense 2 for sleep is required. I don't use this feature.
