I’ve been reading about the finish coming off on the Sense 2. I was about to order a new sense 2 thinking it would be a great update from my versa three. Now I’m worried of course, does this happen with any other model? I must admit, never had it happen with my versa, versa three, My sense which I got rid of because I wasn’t happy with it no other reason. I do not want to buy another Fitbit that the finishes come off like that or is it only certain colours that come off. Has anyone had a different colour that stays intact?

If you search "Sense 2 edge coming off", you will find a thread about it here. That's how I found out I wasn't the only one with this issue. 😉

@Zoeybuffie This issue only affects the Sense 2. The area at the rim of the glass is the where you place your fingers to use the ECG app. The Sense and Sense 2 have very different designs for the ECG app.
Many users who upgraded from a Versa 3 or Sense to a Versa 4/Sense 2 are very unhappy with that decision. There are no third party apps and the clock face choice is limited. Please keep this in mind. If you weren't happy with a Sense, you might not be happy with a Sense 2, either.

Thank you. The reason I gave up on the sense was I didn’t seem to notice a big difference and a friends husband had a stroke so I gave it to him. I like the versa 3 but wanted more heart/health in the sense 2, I’m a 81 female. Does anyone know if the charcoal/black model has the same problem? I like the google pixel 2 but I like my iPhone 8+ and can’t use that watch with it.

@Zoeybuffie My Sense 2 is the charcoal/black model and I have it on mine, too. Other users posted pictures and it is happening to all model colors.

That’s a shame. Now I don’t know what to do…..I’m not sorry I gave my new sense to someone who needed, not sure if I dare tell my husband I want another one. Are there any rumours of a new model coming out?

@Zoeybuffie The Sense 2 was released in September 2022. Fitbit tends to release new models every two years. So I wouldn't expect a new model until September or so.

With the troubles sense 2 is having, it might be better to wait until the new version comes out. Thank you so much
