The edges of my Sense 2 really look bad. It never gets worn into water, haven't used chemicals on it, and it seems to be under the glass where the sensors are. Is there a fix for this?? I did find a thread that discussed the edges "wearing off" but I don't think that's the issue here, although the pics looked like the beginnings of what I'm seeing here.
Any words of wisdom gladly accepted.

Hi @TexasLynn - this issue is not uncommon and you may be able to get it replaced under warranty, like others. Look for more posts in the forums, such as Sense 2 screen edges are wearing off
But bear in mind a refurbished replacement while looking normal may not be without other issues that your watch doesn't have.

Guy, thank you for the kind response. My watch is out of warranty, so I guess I just deal with it until it gets to the point that I "abandon ship" with this one. I bought this when my Versa 3 died and could not be revived. The Versa 3 replaced the Versa 2. The Versa 2 replaced whatever fitbit I had before that -- I can't even remember anymore, lol! Hmmm, maybe a One.
I really enjoy having the Fitbit, but it may be time to consider other alternatives after this one. 😞

@TexasLynn I'm seeing this on my Sense 2, too. I sent feedback to Fitbit about this. That area is the contact area for your fingers when you use the ECG app. Its design is very different from the original Sense, which has a solid metal rim for your finger contact. Fitbit doesn't describe the sensors, so I'm not sure what is causing this. I can say that the Sense 2 is 25% lighter than the Sense, probably because of this design change. Does your ECG app work as expected?

LZeeW, that's not a feature I use regularly, but as far as I can tell, the ECG app does appear to work as it should. Once activated, it counts down, and then gives results. I really can't complain about the functionality of my Sense 2; the appearance, however, probably raises my BP a couple of points. 😬 I keep telling myself, Self, this is just a tool, it's working as it should, appearance should not be that important. But then Self checks the time and sees that crackly edge, and grimaces.
Thank you for the kind and informational response, I can decide to just put up with this until this watch dies, or I can go ahead and get something else. Fitbit's answers to problems have been less than stellar, so I'm still considering whether to stick with them or move on to a different platform. I'm still somewhat "miffed" to be told that the battery that died/wouldn't charge in my Versa 3 was not replaceable. I went with the Sense 2 because all of my watchbands from the Versa 3 would work with the Sense 2, unlike when I moved from Versa 2 to Versa 3 and NONE of the bands were compatible. 🙄 In the scope of life, these are annoyances and not true problems; I'm just tired of my Fitbit annoying the h3ll out of me.
