Based on Fitbit origins, I expect simple functionality that I can't find. Please help 🙂
If I excercise by running every day, I want to have a one click setup and have one function toggle for start/paise/resume:
1. Set watchface to always on and max bright
2. Display medium heart rate, medium timer, medium distance and medium current workout time in peak. If not too crowded, small current time?
3. Start button (Pause/Resume, and Finish)
4. After you push Finish, the reset the watchface to normal non-working mode, e.g. not always on and medium brightness.
Maybe I just haven't discover presets? Currently, it seems like I have to click through 6-8 screens/settings and then while running, the screen accidently scrolls to show stuff that isn't relevant to the runner while running. Then you have to manually reset the setting, for example, to turn off the always on display or to dim the brightness, etc.

The exercise UI is a massive step back. There are some shortcuts if you have a tile "Start Exercise" which shows three recent activities and tapping one will start selected exercise. This is the closest you can get when it comes to shortcuts. And here is a stupid thing. Once you tap it the countdown starts immediately (so run may start before GPS connects). If during the countdown you decide to swipe up to see settings the countdown doesn't stop and activity starts anyway (one would think that if user swiped up the countdown should stop but this is Fitbit). Very annoying and got me a few bogus runs this way (of course, there is no way to discard activity before it syncs to the account). Stopping activity is another weird thing now. I pause activity and tap to finish it and then it comes up with yet another screen from which I can still resume it or press Done to finally end it. Exercise app on the other hand is just slow. Scrolling through selection and finding what one wants is a chore. Because of lagginess often selecting wrong option. This UI hasn't been tested by people who run or exercise at all.
