Feature comparison between Sense and Sense 2?

Hey Everyone,

I've had my Sense 2 for 3 days and it's feeling like a massive downgrade from the original Sense.  My expectations were along the lines of: a few additional features, a slightly better UI, a slightly better processor, a slightly better battery, and a slightly better screen.

However, it now seems the Sense 2 is the opposite where it counts the most: significantly fewer features and worse UI.

Is there a features comparison list between the Sense and Sense 2?

I could only find comparison charts with the current lineup and not comparing previous devices.  I just want to be sure I am getting what I want out of a smartwatch.  Maybe I have the wrong one.

Thanks!

I don't think there's any official comparison (it would be like shooting own foot) but just search the forum, there are plenty of threads comparing both devices.

@RonaldM this certainly doesn't give a full picture. Some features are not even listed as features (for example, Sense 2 has more limited swim tracking than Sense).

@RonaldM  : Interesting!  Even that list doesn't show that "snore reporting" is in the Sense but not the Sense 2.  I guess removing the feature from the list of features makes it so they don't have to point out it's no longer a feature.  What are some other previous features not on that list that have been removed from the Sense 2?

@t.parker  : With the extensive removal of functionality, it's looking like the Sense 2 is a significant downgrade from the Sense for me.  I mainly wanted a physical button instead of the touch-sensitive button (I've accidentally cut short tracking dozens of biking trips by flexing my wrist just enough to trigger the button), all-day stress monitoring, and a fresh battery.  Any other improvements would be iceing on the cake.  Instead, I got less cake.

My watch is returnable until the end of January.  I'll give it another week or two and see if features show back up to make the Sense 2 worth keeping.  (shakes Magic 8-Ball: Signs point to "No")
