Fit bit sense 2 not recording sleep & heart rate at night probably

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since last Tuesday my fit bit sense 2 has stoped recording my sleep and heart rate at night properly. I often wake up in the night and before it would record that but carry on the sleep recording now it just stops. I’ve tried restarting, re booting, wrist placement, updates but nothing works and the help chat was useless, said I would hear from them but never did 🤬

anyone else have this issue/ know how to fix ?

I’m actually afraid to mention this out loud for fear that I may Jinx it, but…..

I have had full data (heart, sleep, health metrics) for the last three consecutive nights. It’s also been accurate in terms of times and sleep vs awake, if I woke in the night it has registered going back to sleep again. So, in essence, all ‘back to normal’ type stuff. There’s been some quirky things happening with the App but that’s been reported separately in the IOS platform pages.

So….. I’m ‘quietly’ asking if anyone on this thread has suddenly experienced the same run of good data capture this week?!

Hello @Saz104 , do you know what version of the device’s software you have? .61 was filled with bugs, so make sure you have either .52 or .86.

Hi @Walker1610  I saw you mention yesterday in a different thread that you still have issues with sleep and heart data so wanted to mention an idea to you.  I don’t know why this currently works for me but perhaps try and see if it helps you too;

Overnight I switch Bluetooth Off on my phone, then I put my phone in Airplane mode. In the morning I switch it all back on and once Fitbit is ‘paired’ again with Bluetooth I sync the Fitbit App (sometimes more than once). I have done this for three nights now and each morning I get full data. I could be a complete coincidence, I really don’t know. But I would be very interested to hear if it also helps you.

The "Help" people said I need to tap "update" in the app and "check the
Allow automatic updating box". I can't find either of those options in the
app. I have version .61.

Hi. Thanks for your tips. I have tried this along with every other idea/tip going. My Fitbit always records my heart rate but it is just a pure lottery as to whether it syncs to the app or not 🤷‍:female_sign:! I’ve had 2 weeks of full data - 3 days of part data. Now I do nothing & sometimes it syncs sometimes it doesn’t. I’m just waiting now for new year & to buy a new watch by a different company. I don’t particularly like Googles stealth “take over”, they have a reputation for buying out & destroying things. I am also disturbed by the fact they know more about me than I probably do 🤣🤣🤣. I thought the new updates would improve things but alas no 😞😞
