Fitbit App Does Not Give Me the Choice of Moving to Google

Hi, I received an email to switch my Fitbit account to Google. I am an existing Google member. I tried to follow the instructions. However, I am not seeing the choice of "Move Account" for moving my account to Google under "Settings." Please help me. I tried the Fitbit website on my laptop. No luck either.

Thanks to you all for your answers. I just found the issue: the OS on my smartphone is outdated. The Play Store cannot install the new Fitbit app. Therefore, I cannot see the gear nor my Google profile pic.

Hi @AmberSoda ,

Since this really has nothing to do with the type of tracker you have (Sense 2), I would like to move it to the appropriate OS forum, but in order for me to do that, I need to know which OS you have.  Please advise.

Hi @AmberSoda   I've seen some posts where people who migrated got this email in error.  It happened to me, but months and months ago.  Do you have a gear icon or your Google profile picture in the upper right of your Fitbit app?  If you have a profile picture, then you migrated.  If you have a gear icon, there is a prominent tile at the top of the page.

Thank you. There is not a gear icon and not a Google profile picture in the upper right of my Fitbit app.

 

The Fitbit help site is not useful. I have been spending a lot of time on this. What a waste of my time.
