I took off my Fitbit Sense 2 while riding my Harley, When I put it back on the heart rate monitor went thru the roof. Is that something to do with the vibrations??

Hi, @LeeKaspy , almost certainly yes.  Although the HR detection is via led scanning on your wrist, if it cannot detect HR that way, but is clearly still detecting activity, the HR algorithm will focus instead on the nearest beating thing* - in this case your your motor cycles vibrations.  I would recommend in this case temporarily turning off your Sense - because you are also likely to get many false steps at the same time - or at least turning off HR detection to avoid muddying your stats.

*this is information (about “nearest beating thing”) is something I noted myself, but confirmed by DC Rainmaker, well known fitness wearable reviewer.

Hi @LeeKaspy  - in addition to what @Julia_G  says you could also try starting a driving exercise because you retain all the watch functionality without it counting steps, the trick is remembering to stop the exercise when you want to use it normally.
