I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

In response to the questions:
Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app? - Has happened when doing it both ways for me.
Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific? - Has happened with every meal.
Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base? - seems to be happening with both
Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad? - iPhone for me

Had this problem yesterday and still the same problem today. Done all things recommended in this thread but no good. I am an Android user.

Its still happening today. No matter what i input (custom or +) or if I add it to breakfast, lunch, dinner.. it immediately disappears. Im using my android phone.

Hi there, for me it's everytime for every meal. Worked fine up until yesterday lunchtime,then no matter the method I try it just won't stay logged. I've tried scanning,adding in the food log part itself using the plus sign and then using the plus sign from the Home screen....none are successful 😕

@JuanFitbit Still not logging foods as of 5am EST on Friday December 5th.
- Entered for every meal but nothing sticks.
- This applies to custom & listed foods.
- Using IOS
I tried logging previous days but doesn’t stick. I then tried future dates. The dates & calories seem to get logged but the food disappears. I’ve attached a screenshot. You can see the log jumps from Thursday to Saturday & Sunday, skipping Friday (today at the time of this comment)

On Android on using the + to add food entries, the food is logged as normal but on exiting the food page the entry disappears on next visit. Very frustrating..initially there was an error message which appeared" an unknown error has occured" (in the colour red)
As fast as you record new items they disappear.
Have cleared app cache and reinstalled app several times to no avail.
Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Still happening for me. Doesn't matter what food I add, or if I just add the calorie number, when you add a new one the one you just did vanishes.
It didn't save my weight, either.

This is happening in every category when I log a food item. I’m using an IPhone. Updated the app yesterday. Restarted my phone and charger 6, still having the same problem.

Every meal. Plus I log my weight every Friday morning and it hasn't stored that, either.

I'm having the same issue. It was working fine until yesterday evening and now it won't add anything.
I've done all the usual things, reinstall app, restart everything etc etc but now I know it's a wider issue than just me!

This replacement of food when entering and then when leaving food entries it disappears has been happening on my android since yesterday. If I go back a day and try to add food it still occurs. For those of us who have been keeping a food diary for years this is very frustrating.

I've been having the same issue since yesterday and it happens whether you're in the food tracking or I add the plus sign I have uninstalled several times cleared the c a c h e cleared the data this is extremely frustrating
It affects all foods custom or from the database and affects all meals and all days I tried to log today what I did yesterday and it's still disappeared and I have an Android

I was able to log my breakfast on Thursday 4 December, but any further attempts to add items resulted in only the last item entered showing. This was mainly from the "food" section in the app rather than the general + button; items from Frequent and Custom lists, also an item from the data base later in the day. Basically, everything, everywhere! Also problems synching on my phone. My Android phone had an update this week, but the problem with the Fitbit app began a day or two later. I have restarted my phone, uninstalled the reinstalled the app, turned Bluetooth off and on again, unlinked and linked my Sense to the app - nothing has helped.
This morning, nothing is saving into the "food" section. This is clearly an app problem, as all the other elements of my Sense appear to be working fine (sleep, steps, etc). I hope you can sort it out soon!
