Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

ANSWERED

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Food logging isn't working wherever I enter it, for any meal. The entry stays until I enter another, then that one also disappears. I've tried all the fixes with no change. Im on an android device.  Will there be a notification when this is fixed?

Also having food entries disappear! Argh, tracking calories is really fundamental for me!

I am having the same issue since yesterday at dinnertime.  Loaded breakfast and lunch and then nothing.

Still having logging issues now sleep tracker doesn't work either and step counter off. This is ridiculous that every month or two there is some kind of bug. Are we gonna get notification when this is fixed or are we just stuck with this? I may never get another Fitbit again!

This is happening to me too no matter what meal or what food I log it disappears

Same here, so frustrating after using this for years.  I have uninstalled, rebooted, etc. also.  I hope they fix this soon since most of us pay for a subscription.

Hi, I’m having the same issue with my food logs disappearing. It’s happening with all meals and with either add option. I’m using an iPhone.

I entered Breakfast with no problems. Then when I enter Lunch, all of Breakfast disappears. So then I re-enter Breakfast and one item from Lunch disappears. It is like playing Whack-A-Mole and you can never get all of it to stay. I’m using the iOS app.

I concur. Earlier this morning it did not work. Now 1030 EST, it does. Hope it stays fixed.

to answer your questions from my experience with this issue is as follows

this issue happens to me in the food log site

it affected all foods

and I use an iOS device

this issue was still happening today

Still having the same issue. Started yesterday and even with app uninstalls and reboots etc it has not resolved.

I am on an Android.

Seems to affect all food entries. All meals. Weather adding from the list of foods or adding quick calories.

All other features seem to log just fine (ie water, weight etc)

Does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

>> Both

Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?

>> All of them

Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?

>> All of them

Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad?

>> Android

All day yesterday and starting today, I am unable to log calorie count on Fitbit inspire three, I have removed the app several times. Restarted the app and have cleared all cash in cookies from the phone Dunn restarts of the phone several times. None of these suggestions seem to work. Does anyone have a solution?

Both the + sign on the homepage and adding from the "Food" category.

Every meal.

All food.

Android.

I am experiencing it with the (+) sign and when I select from “frequent” or “recent”.

Both Breakfast and Lunch are impacted. It accepts/displays some entries, but not all.

It seems to count the calories even when it doesn’t display the food logged. It does not seem to update the nutrition macros for anything but displayed food logs.

In the mobile app on my Android phone it is not recording since noon of 12/4/25 any food items. I've tried the plus sign, I tried the custom foods, I've tried the foods and the database, I've tried adding in foods myself still nothing it does not save it.

I rebooted the phone that didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app that didn't work. Everything else in the app seems to be working fine.

Yea, I spoke too soon. The app accepted some food items, not others, erased some and is just plain erratic. Fitbit is obviously working on it, but no joy.
