Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

How can this be fixed? I have the same issues using an iPhone- saved food items - scanned items. Add food and it then disappears. This only seemed to have started yesterday 4/12/25

Hi when I try to log all food, breakfast, lunch, dinner, either recently logged or custom food, i am using android Samsung s25, when I return to main screen it's gone, go back into the log it hasn't saved.. really frustrating, pls fix

agree. i am on IOS and started having this issue yesterday. i rely fully on fitbit to log my protein, etc. 

at least provide a workaround to us! ridiculous

My fitbit has been adding and dropping food inputs sporadically for a while but yesterday it ramped up and kept dropping my dinner and evening snack inputs. Seems no better today.

As of 4:20 am ET 12/5/2025 still unable to enter foods. Android, using  +, scan, and search. Did all the suggestions, no change. Affecting all meal and snacks after 11am (lunch) yesterday.

Food entries disappear after logging… I have an iPhone. Restated phone, and watch with no resolution. Started on the evening of 12/04/2025, tried again this morning and still not working.

Same here. Did everything. Logout login, restart phone, re-install. Really stinks when this happens. I have come to rely on this app to much.

Same here, food log not working properly since afternoon of 04Dec.  Food item can be added but it then then disappears, also tried just adding calories but thats the same. Using Android.

It's happening both on plus and in food section for me and in all food time categories. Happening to custom foods, frequent foods and quick add calories. I can add a new item but it just disappears when i go back to home or add a new item. Started around lunch yesterday, very frustrating when this is one of the main app uses! I use Android, I've updated my phone snd reinstalled the app.

I'm using FitBit app 4.57.fitbit-mobile-1103870937 - 830195696 on Android 14

The issue occurs by logging food with any option available:

+ button on dashboard

Add food option from widget

Add button on Add food UI

The logged information is briefly reported in the recap but disappears shortly after.

This happens to me and my wife. It started yesterday.
It happens for every meal
You add a food or meal usinig the + button and it appears, but then after a few seconds it disappears, or if you've added a meal you see the elements appear and then disappear one by one
It happens on custom and look up and bar coded foods

We're both on Android phones

To me, it looks like the problem is a synchronisation issue - the app registers the food and then when it goes to sync the sync is not uplloading but it sees there's nothing on the database for you so it syncronises to the empty database entry.

Same here. My most recent entry seems to be recorded in the app but is subsequently replaced (overwritten) by the next entry, which later disappears as well.

Looks like a database update issue.

iOS (18.7.1) Fitbit app. Updated App to 4.58 today but didn’t fix issue. Items logged using any method just disappear. Also cal count for the day is way off. Seems to have started around lunchtime yesterday 4th Dec England. Still happening. Hope for a speedy resolution.

same here - using the app,  quick add doesn't work,  log the food with the + sign - that doesn't "stick" either.  using Android.

happens with every meal. very annoying.

I've been considering samsung or garmin but they're so big for my little wrists and the fitbit app (when it works) has everything I need. Apparently there's some new fitbit hardware next year.
