Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

I was unable to log yesterday and still unable today.  I logged for breakfast and lunch, and my entries keep being deleted after input.

The last items which were retained were entered yesterday morning around 5am.  Now when I enter an item, it disappears after a few seconds.  This applies to adding from frequent/recent items, scanned barcode, or custom food. I am on an Android device and have uninstalled/reinstalled app.

Its happening with everything. It will only hold one food and then if you try to add another it just replaces it. Its happening with customers foods too.

Same. Every time I try to log food or drink the previous entries disappear.

No meal item saves. Doesn’t work from food app for “+”. I have android. When you add it shows on the screen. You can select the food to edit, but when the edit window comes up it is a blank message box with a red “ok” in the bottom right. Not the usual edit screen. Hope that helps.

I log through the + and also through the quick add and barcode scan. It will add a food and then it disappears 5 seconds later. Happens on all meals, even "Anytime"

Okay then how is December 5th nothing has changed the food does just doesn't load you see a little the little red line come up and go right back and hide itself and that's when it disappears so no no amount of troubleshooting works there is nothing I can do on my desktop to get to a desktop dashboard like cuz you took that away from us and the dashboard on the the app on the phone doesn't let you enter the food either this is this is Daddy Google right this is the best you guys can do you're supposed to be what the big up and coming master of AI and you can't even keep your fitbits running when you have a little technical problems obviously you put an update in there somewhere take it out roll it back we got to be able to do something here with this crap but no none of the stuff you say none of it none of it works anyway you try to enter it it just doesn't work

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app? + SIGN IN THE DASHBOARD


Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific? EVERYMEAL, CAN ONLY LOG ONE FOOD ITEM FOR THE WHOLE DAY. TRY LOGGING MORE THAN ONE FOOD ITEM AND THEY DISAPEAR


Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base? AFFECTS CUSTOM FOOD AND DATABASE FOOD

My deleted entries started yesterday (12/04/25) on my IPHONE app.  As others said, you enter information for any meal….it shows for maybe a second, sometimes not at all….but ultimately disappears immediately after.

Tried logging in and out of app, powered down phone and back on, and all updates to software are current on app and phone.

Help!  Using this app for medical diet management.

December 5th still doesn't do anything for me on the Fitbit it doesn't matter how I do it so how long is this going to take for Google The mighty Google to let me enter my food into a lousy Fitbit

  • Same issue here. Using IOS updated app and forced close - no difference. Adding using + button both search and saved foods. Entered whole day and all vanished!

2) every meal/entry

Same issue here (UK).  Getting seriously fed up with Fitbit/Google now after 8 years and numerous versions of the Charge. Too frequent app glitches, no sign of the long promised firmware updates....
