Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

- happens in both areas, with the plus sign and the food site in the app


Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?

-seems to be every meal


Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?

-both custom and database foods.

Thanks for this.

a few years ago it took them over a week to fix a similar issue and some folks on the forums got so angry the moderator deleted posts. I am going to try another app for now until this is fixed. I have tried others in the past and like this one the best. Eventually it will get fixed.

Android user. I'm having the same issues. I have already tried all the usual steps multiple times: 

  • Force stopped the app
  • Cleared the cache
  • Rebooted the phone
  • Logged out and back in
  • Synced the app
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

Nothing has resolved the issue.

Using Android pixel phone. It worked for breakfast yesterday but after that any entry on either the + sign or the barcode reading doesn't stay. It doesn't matter what you label it under as breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. it will let you log the food item and it will populate for a second in your calories in but disappear a few seconds later. Been happening since yesterday morning and still not working as of this morning still

I'm using an Android,  this was happening yesterday and now today as well when logging food by pressing the + in the app. All meals, they are saved in recent, frequent, and custom. They will appear and then dissappear or only the last item I clicked in the log and add more feature will appear for a moment before disappearing. 

I have tried the listed advice, logging out and back in,  restarting, clearing the cache and force starting, all with no luck.

Food log quit working. Mode of choosing food irrelevant to problem. All new entries erase prior ones. Updated app and restarted phone but same issue continued. This issue began for me on Dec. 4, 2025.

I can't update mine with new food entries at all. It either replaces the last one I did or completely erases my previous entries for the day. Been doing that since yesterday. I have an Inspire 3.

Same happening for me. I log my quick calories only for them to then disappear. Very frustrating and seemed to start doing this for no reason.

Same as everyone else. This started yesterday afternoon and continues this morning. I have an I phone. 

Any method of adding. Any food- new, custom, recent, frequent, all of them. Any meal, any time.

Goes in as an entry for a second or two then disappears. This renders food tracking completely useless. Please fix it!
