Do I have to switch to a Google account? I like my sence 2 just the way it is without using Google to log in every day. Lately it is making me "log in" every other day and wants me to move my account to google. I have never had to do this before. I don't want to change it or have to log in daily . I just want to tap the icon and see my stats. Thanks

@Spoiledl8y , Nice to see you around. Thank you for your message.
After February 2, 2026, you can no longer access Fitbit with your Fitbit account. To continue using your account, you’ll need to move your Fitbit account to Google.
A new or existing Google Account will be required to sign up for Fitbit and activate newly released Fitbit and Pixel devices.
You can use your existing Fitbit account with your Fitbit devices and services for as long as it's supported.
Your Fitbit data will be deleted when support ends.
Previously, you needed to create a Fitbit account to use the Fitbit app and sync data between your device and account. Now, Google Accounts give you access to all Google services, including Fitbit. You also get additional benefits.
More about the migration can be found here: How to move a Fitbit Account to a Google Account

I got my FitBit in July. I signed in to Fitbit, but it made me sign in with Google. That was the end of any problem. Once on Google, I can get the app on my phone easily, just click on the icon.
