How do I change the type of an exercise after the fact

I selected bike, and the fitbit recorded two exercises simultaneously: a bike ride with spurious data, and a walk with the correct data for the bike ride. I've deleted the bike ride, but I can't change the walk into a ride. The instructions say:

"Tap the Today tab , then tap the Exercise tile . Tap the exercise you want to edit or delete. Tap the 3 dots and choose to edit or delete the exercise. To edit the type of exercise (for example, to change a walk to a hike), tap Categorize Exercise and choose a different exercise type."

The only options when I tap the three dots are to delete the exercise or download the track, there's no edit option. This is in both the fitbit app and the web interface.

Thanks,

Mark.

Silly me, I believed the instructions. What you need to do is ignore the three dots, and look next to them for the pencil, which lets you edit the type of activity (among other things),

Not a prefect solution, as the app still thinks I'd done 44,000 steps before breakfast, but at least it's not now telling me I walk at an elite marathon running pace.

You can't do that with all activities (not on Android app at least). Only Workout and some autorecognized activities can be renamed.
