On Thanksgiving day 2025 my daughter brought my Fitbit Sense to her sister's home. While bringing in many items the Fitbit somehow disappeared. We searched all around the house out in the front yard and driveway but it was not to be found. Yesterday I got my weekly FitBit report and it showed usage despite the fact it is not on my wrist. Clearly someone found it and is wearing it. So my question is can Google/FitBit tell where the Sense is so that I can reach out the person and get my FitBit back and pay them so kind of reward. Any and all ideas are welcome.

You pose a very good question that sent me down a brief rabbit hole. Unfortunately, I do not see a way to find the device in the Fitbit app and there is not a way to add the Fitbit to Google's Find hub. The only solution I saw on the Google forums was to use a 3rd party app like Fitbit Finder. One on the posters there seemed to have luck with it, though I cannot speak to how well it works personally. I also do think it would do you much good after the fact. I wish I could have reported better findings. I hope you can locate the device.

Hi @JungleEd Your Fitbit needs to be in your phone’s Bluetooth range (about 30 ft) to sync to your account. Please take a detailed look at your app for the latest synced activity. The way I see it, the only way someone else can use it and show data on your account is for that person to know your login credentials.
The Fitbit app will show your BMR calories, even if you don’t wear it.
Google/Fitbit can’t locate a missing device. People have found misplaced Fitbits with Bluetooth finder apps, but it takes some detective work to know where to look.
