I have yet to receive my preorder (what's the point of preordering if you don't get the device until 4-5 days AFTER it's in stores?) and I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep or return the Sense 2. (I am also considering a swap to the Versa 4 if the cEDA isn't functional).
I am torn. I am disappointed with what I've heard about the device and how it is a downgrade from the previous devices. No app store. No Google Assistant.
That being said, for me, the issue with that is this is supposed to be an "upgrade." In reality, I don't really care about the smartwatch features. I'm ok with basic call/text notifications. I don't need music on my watch. I am using this as a fitness tracker. So, if the Fitness tracking features work, I may be able to look past the lack of third party apps.
What are your opinions on the Sense 2, not as a smart watch, but as a FITNESS/HEALTH TRACKER? (So, if they advertised it correctly/honestly). And how are the upgraded health/fitness tracking features compared to other or previous models? I'm mostly interested in the cEDA. (I've didn't have a Sense or Charge 5, so I don't really know much about the EDA feature of those devices. I don't have anything to compare it to)

Hi @parasmrut - if you look in the forums you will find that the watches based on the new sensor technology aren't good at measuring HR during exercise or movements. The older technology in the Versa 2 or before does better.
Anything that depends on HR such as calories, Active Zone Minutes, alerts, etc. will be off. Sleep should be ok if you don't move a lot.

@parasmrut are you saying that you pre-ordered Sense 2, which was released in September last year and until now, end of February 2023 you haven't received your watch? 😮 and you patiently waiting? Why not just cancel preorder, buy in store, test it, return if you don't like it.

@parasmrut I too am primarily interested in health and fitness tracking, so smart watch features are less important to me. I am disappointed with my Sense 2. The basic health and fitness tracking features are mostly unreliable, due to innacurate HR monitoring. The cEDA is not all that helpful. I turned it off because it was constantly interrupting whatever I was doing to question me about feelings, then giving me a list of feelings to choose from that didn't necessarily apply. It also treats any body response as a negative indicator. All the app does is plot your emojis on a line for each day. This is not insightful or helpful. Plus, it sucks battery. My last device was an Inspire 2, so it had fewer features, but at least the basics worked. It was poorly made and just didn't hold up, which is why I went with Sense 2. I can't comment on Versa or Charge.
