I've been thinking of getting a Google Pixel Watch, but the smaller screen and, especially, the battery life of 24 hours max (seems to be way less than that for most users) is a turn off. I see that the Sense 2 is on sale for $200. I know reviews haven't been great but I was wondering if it's worth getting at $200.
I'm not wanting something super fancy. I want to track my health stats, connect my messages, discord, and Microsoft outlook to the watch for notifications, and take calls on it (which I think the Sense 2 will have later on).

I will be honest with you @drenigoln I do not think it is worth 200 USD. If it was 100 USD I would say yes, probably. But the lack of 3rd party is a big drawback for that price. For your usage you can find something cheaper that will do as good.

$200? NO

I got a Sense 2 during couple of days when Amazon was selling it for $80 (https://bit.ly/3PS7zrf), but still (at least temporarily) reverted to Garmin Venue, due to really inaccurate HR tracking during HIIT and weight lifting. I think the device is worth about what I paid for it (won't be returning for a refund,) and waiting patiently for future software updates.
Interestingly enough, the item disappeared from Amazon. I am not sure if $80 was a fire sale to get rid of the stock once and forever, or it might return in the future. Knowing Amazon, then it even might be offered at the previous lowest price. If you are patient, I suggest you set up a CamelCamelCamel alert at: https://3cmls.co/US/B0B4N2T7GL.

If you want accurate health stats, then probably not. I recently bought mine for $200, and have been very disappointed with the accuracy of heart rate data so far. The sleep data and step counter seem to be reasonably accurate, but since the HR data is erratic, anything else that depends on that data is also not reliable. Recommendations have been non-sensical, and zone minutes not at all reflective of my activity level. If they would fix that, then maybe it would be a decent health tracker for $200. I could do without some of the promised new features that haven't materialized yet. But what is a health or fitness tracker if the HR tracker doesn't work?

$200? It is a lot of; money for a toy that generally doesn't do what it is supposed to do

It doesn't seem to register steps consistantly. Given it's first and foremost a STEP COUNTER, you'd think that should be something high on the THIS HAS TO WORK part

Due to its feature set being much lower than the original Sense, I think it makes no... sense... at its price point at all. If it's feature set suits you, then you may as well get a cheaper model that does the same. Basically, it's not much of a smart watch at all, it's a good fitness and sleep tracker but so are the much cheaper options.
If Fitbit get their act together and sort out the missing features in software updates, it could end up justifying its price. But they don't even have the decency to tell customers what they're planning.

No its not worthy at all for even 80$. Bcoz of its HR readings are really inaccurate also there are no 3rd party apps for this. So even if you are going to buy it just for notifications, its not worth as suddenly at some point it will not recieve notifications and then may be one hour later you will start to get it.
Better to get a true smartwatch either from android wear or from watch os by just compromising with battery. I personally feel charging everyday to get my correct health stat is better than getting wrong info for 5+ days from this junk.

I was in the same boat as you. I wanted to get the Pixel Watch to go with my Pixel phone. When comparing the Sense 2 vs Pixel Watch, the Sense 2 has a lot more sensors for health metrics. For me personally, I'd rather have the battery life and sensors on the Sense 2 vs the "smart watch" features the Pixel Watch has. I have heard the heart rate tracking on the Pixel Watch is the best so if that is a very important factor for you, then that might be a deciding factor as well. $200 to me is worth it if you can still find it.
