Latest firmware update ruined my Sense 2

After the latest firmware update, my Sense 2 has no battery life. On a full charge it now lasts about 7 hours and will shutdown even when the battery percentage says 38. It also takes about 8 hours to charge instead of about 2. It gets worse if I try and track a workout or run.

What was your (# of days) battery life prior to the firmware update? This (potential affect on battery life) is precisely why I have not yet updated my firmware. I heard there was a battery issue with the old Sense (1)m so I was concerned to get feedback from others before updating my Sense 2, even though Fitbit “said” the Sense 2 didn’t have the same issue as the original Sense. I currently get about 5 to 6 days and use my Sense 2 for a lot of th8ngs, so don’t want to ruin it.

Before the update, I would get 5-6 days. Now I'm lucky if I get 4 hours.
Do not update if you can avoid it. I'm working with Google support to fix,
but no luck so far. I hope the replace my watch, but we'll see.

@B_Michael , thanks for the info and suggestion. I was very close to trying the update since I've been having an issue with my watch faces not updating my location...I thought maybe the fitbit firmware needed update to link to my new android os 15. But given your experience and other posts about the firmware (aside from issues) adding very little new functionality,  I think im gonna pass on the update.
