Love Google but HATE what they have done to FITBIT

Ever since the switch over I have had nothing but problems.  I have had a FITBIT for more than a dozen years and I am ready to give it up.  The new app stinks.  It is hard to find anything and I am constantly having problems with recording stats, receiving texts, calendar notifications.  Please put it back or recommend something that actually works.

Hi @Luvappy  - probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time.

Posted on a similar topic about how frustrated we all are.  It looks like the recent update was for Android and not iOS.  I have been with FitBit a LONG time and have purchased many for myself and my family.  Goodbye Sense 2, you will now reside in a drawer.  Sadly you have been replaced.  On an upbeat not since the app has caused us all so much distress may I suggest the GoogleFit app.  Not the same but way better than the 'updated' version of the FitBit app that we all dislike - and dislike is putting it mildly.  It pairs with my non-g**gle new watch.  It has been great while it lasted.  Sad to learn that money appears to come before customer satisfaction.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. I, too, have had a Fitbit for several years. I can’t stand Google though, and I think this Fitbit I have right now might be my last.

Agreed!! So frustrating!! Why couldn’t google leave it as it was!!

Maybe that is googles intention.

I and my family have had a Fitbit since 2014. Not sure if we will make this our last or not, but it’s sure looking like it.

You can use apps like Strava and connect them to the Fitbit app.
