First..How do I reply so that a fitbit moderator like you sees my message. It seems my replies only go to the person that I'm replying to.

The main issues... I have the same problem with the metal frames coming off. This will be the third time I'm dealing with an issue that is NOT abuse. Both frames came off at night in a hotel. When I found out, I had only one frame. The other is lost.

In all these threads they do not say if Fitbit can send u to a place like Assurian aka u break/we fix it, where they can order the plates and reattach. Don't even know if they can be reattached or the fitbit has to be replaced. Fitbit makes it very hard to be loyal too. Your charging system with the four prongs is a joke also.. how unreliable. Please help me find the best way to get new metal braces put on the unit at a reasonable price.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you.
I don't use mine in water either. Although it's supposed to be able to.

Start typing the "@" symbol followed by LizzyFitbit and it will tag the user in that message.  Hope this helps.

They only offered a discount on a new one. I can't afford it. They know this is an ongoing issue.

This just happened to my sense 2 this morning as I was removing it from my wrist to shower.

It's sad when we paid all this money. I still haven't heard back from when
I told them I want a replacement. I'm going to let the store know where I
bought it. Also the BBB.

Contact the creditor and let them know you have a defective device.

How can I get a replacement or a discount on another fitbit watch?

Ask customer service. I think it's about 35%

Okay, so technically you're not allowed to reference a mod by name or you're comment will be removed. Just go to the community forum and see who the topic you have an issue with. That mod will then, eventually respond back and tag you using you with a @ symbol and your username. For example, mine is @1GinnyME1

That’s some nice double standards they have. A moderator can tag you, but you can’t tag a moderator? I am so done with this company and their horrible lack of support!

What do these metal pieces do, and how does it impact functionality when you lose them?
The bottom one fell off, and I don't know where it is. My device is out of warranty, so they sent me a discount for a new device. I would like them to send me a replacement piece that I can glue on. This is not a disposable product and needs to be repaired. I purchased it a year and a half ago.
I've been loyal to Google since before my first smartphone. But if I buy a new device without this small matter getting resolved, it won't be a FitBit or Google product.

And in fact this is the replacement from my first Sense 2 that the exact problem occured.

As far as I can see their only purpose is to connect to the magnetic charger.  Clearly a design flaw!
