My fitbit battery has started to burn my skin

My battery started leaking in my sleep and had burnt deep painful holes in my skin where the sensors are located. Fitbit hasn't been helpful, I keep being told it's being escalated but no one has responded in 4 days. Anyone have advice on how to proceed?

Hi @hunnykat - if the watch overheats it can burn you. This can happen if there is a short circuit inside, sometimes caused by getting water inside.

If it gets hot when charging stop immediately as it confirms a watch fault.

Definitely don't wear the watch on either wrist.

Due to Google lay offs support may be quite limited for dealing with cases such as yours.
