New Sense 2 Fitbit Same problems a year later....

I had all the problems with my Sense 2 last year that everyone else was having and I ended up replacing the device out of frustration. Well about 4 days ago it stopped syncing properly. It was showing my steps, but I apparently had been awake for like 36 hours. Some items showed up, some didn't. I did deleted the app, restarted the fitbit, added the app and lost about 3000 steps, but yesterday morning it seemed to be working, everything as showing up as it should, so I was happy, then today rolls around. I thought I slept pretty good last night, I went to check and apparently I didn't sleep at all, no sleep logged, no readiness score, no skin temp. I have been wearing a fitbit since 2016 and used to love them, but I am seriously considering a Samsung watch, I am so over all the issues and now it's near impossible to reach someone for assistance. (Which I know they will just have me do everything I have already done anyway. I know all the fixes, 9 year veteran)...

Hi @marcistamey - it's possible that the watch developed a fault but much more likely the problems you experience are issues with the Fitbit app which is notorious for having random issues, and sometimes even the phone.

It won't help solve anything but it might help knowing that your watch may be fine.

You can lose data that hasn't been synced if you shutdown the watch or factory reset it. A watch restart normally retains unsynced data.

That's odd to hear. I've never had trouble with the app, but over the past
couple of years, I've had tons of trouble with my device. I do have a brand
new S25, maybe that's the issue. I guess Samsung watch here I come. 😏

So frustrating! I really don't want to go through all the steps once or twice a week to get it working like it should in the first place. Do you think they are doing this so you buy a newer one or a Google Pixel? Let me know if you found a easy fix rather than the 100 steps it takes. ugghh

Almost completely identical here. I have a new S25 as well. Suddenly about 5 days ago can't get sleep data and syncing only works partially and sporadically. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app worked once and now doesn't at all again. My wife is having the same problem.

I do feel l like every time I have had a Fitbit for about a year they stop working. I do wonder if they are trying to get us to upgrade to a different watch.

I'm so annoyed. Fitbit emailed me today that they are doing an update to
the app that will correct this issue. But I know it isn't the app, it is
the device. It works for 2 or 3 days after spending an hour on the phone
with them, then it quits again.
