Hello @Alf63 and welcome to the Community.  I own a Sense 2 and a Versa 3.  Fitbit bands for these models are marked 24 mm band in the Fitbit Store.  Fitbit 24 mm Infinity Band   If you older Versa bands have a spring loaded pin, then those are Versa/Versa Lite/Versa 2 bands.

@Alf63   My example is just one of several 24 mm bands in the Fitbit store.  There are others.  Some third party bands that say they will fit a Sense 2, but they don't.  @Heather-S can confirm, from experience.

there is a small tiny indent difference on the Sense 2 / Versa 4 band mechanism  https://strap.primria.com/fitbit-sense-2-versa-4-watch-bands-compatibility/

You were slightly misinformed.  My understanding is that the Versa line bands are not interchangeable with the Sense line of bands.  You should have gotten a Sense band, which is interchangeable with a Sense 2.  Is there any chance you can return the bands?
