I've had my sense 2 for 5 months now (free premium subscription not even run out yet!!) Last week there was a firmware update which was successful. These past 2 nights I did not get sleep tracking. Then, today, I noticed the red light is not flashing anymore so I tried restarting and got a big red cross. I am VERY disappointed with sense2. My first Fitbit was versa2 no problems then I upgraded to sense 1 again no problems. I expected sense 2 to be the best of them and is proving to be the worse.
(Earlier this month I had a different issue with this device and I thought the firmware update would fix that. It might have but now I have this no sleep tracking issue)

Hi @walkyria.c - the first thing to do is to restart the watch [and may be even the phone] and sync.
Restarting may temporarily get it syncing again. The new V4 Fitbit App has quite a few issues and it may help to logout of the Fitbit App and restart the watch before bed and then see in the morning what is the result by logging on and syncing again.

Thank you for the reply. I already restarted the sense2 and re-installed the app. Logged out and in again
I do not see how the app would interfere with the infrared light not working anymore.
