Not tracking properly after app update

I have the Sense 2.  Didn’t have any issues until I was forced to update the app. Now the steps will randomly freeze and not track correctly.  The  will work for a while and freeze on and off so accurate tracking isn’t happening.  Have done multiple steps as suggested by customer service but nothing has totally fixed it.  Anyone else have similar since the app update?
