I keep getting a message every so often saying device paring on text messages is that normal and how can I stop seeing this message. I have only had it for a day or two

Hi there, @Graham58. Welcome to the forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Sense 2.

As a first approach, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Sense 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense 2.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Sense 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

If the issue persists after trying the above, as @DramaQueenDiva suggested, please send us a picture showing the message you get. In order to add a photo to your reply please:

  • When you're in the reply page, click on the Insert Photos icon (the little camera).
  • Then, click on the Choose File in the middle of the grey window that will pop up.
  • Search for the photo on your computer or phone and click on Open.
  • Once the image shows up in the grey windows, select the size and the position and click on Done.

I have sorted it out thanks

I got a new tablet that didn't support text messages and it was linked to tablet and phone together so I deleted it off the tablet and it was fine after that

I don’t think that’s usual, could you send a picture through for us to investigate?
