Peloton Calorie Count No Longer Overriding?

Hi all,

First time question-asker here. I've been wearing my Fitbit for ~10 yrs and have had it sync with Peloton for the last 5 or so. Very recently, it seems like the calorie count from my Peloton rides is no longer overriding the daily calorie count on my watch. This is with me wearing a chest strap heart rate monitor on the bike.

For example, this morning when I got on the bike I was at 900 calories for the day. I then did three rides on bike which totaled 800 calories. All three rides show up in the Fitbit app as tracked exercises sessions. My daily calories count should technically have been 1,700 for the day, but even after syncing it was more like 1,400.

This seems to be a very recent issue which has me perplexed. It's also annoying because calorie burn is the primary thing I use Fitbit for and I feel like I am getting short-changed everyday.

Any of you pros have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Are your Peloton rides being transferred to your Fitbit account?

Normally the best thing to do is disconnect the third party app and reconnect. If this doesn't work, you will have to reach out to Peloton.

It logs the exact exercise but apparently does not log the calories. I can
see the calorie burn in the individual exercise metrics but they are not
being counted in the daily calories. Seems very odd.
