Raise to wake fade-in SLOW

When I raise my wrist to wake the screen, it fades in very slowly. After my wrist is completely up and I’m looking at the screen, it takes about a second to fully wake the screen. It’s very annoying because my previous Versa and Sense 1 awoke immediately. Is there a way to customize so it wakes immediately? 

I’ve searched the settings and can’t find a solution.

It's kinda fine to me. The fade-in animation looks cool to me. But I agree it would be nice to have a setting to customize it. I am sure the fitbit moderators will recommend you raise a feature request in the Feature Suggestion board here.

@ResetPhil agree, it is annoying. Especially during activities when you want to see metrics instantly.
