Sense 2: Activate Fitbit pay

Hi
My Sense broke and replaced it with a Sense 2. Then I had to find out that I can't use Fitbit Pay anymore, even the website annouces support for Fitbit Pay on a Sense 2. Unfortunately my credit card does not support Google Pay and now I'm stuck.

Is there a trick to switch to / activate Fitbit Pay on a Sense 2?

It looks like Fitbit is promoting features on their website, which are not supported by the device. Not really nice how long standing customers are treated.....

I use Fitbit Pay on Sense 2.  Did you switch to Google Pay? If so, there is no going back.  Or perhaps even switch to a Google account?  I'm not sure, but think maybe switching to Google account ties you to Google Pay rather than Fitbit  Pay.

If either of these is the case, you should be able to use Google Pay, though I do understand it might not be your preferred choice.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Actually I got it new, it did a software upgrade when I activated the first time the device and forced me to go immediately to Google Account. There was simply no way to switch to Fitbit Pay. It did not allow me at all. Unfortunately, I can't use Google Pay, as my credit card provider does not support Google Pay, but Fitbit Pay :(.
I hope Fitbit will make it possible (hopefully soon) to "switch" to Fitbit Pay.
