First my Fitbit keeps freezing to update every 10 minutes while tracking an exercise and now it just fails to update the steps. Re-synching does nothing. Fitbit is totally useless.

Thank you so much for letting us know about your Sense 2, which keeps freezing to update every 10 minutes. 

Have you already tried the troubleshooting steps described in this article:Why can't I update my Fitbit device? 

I checked with support and it seems like you already have a case created. My best advice is to keep an open communication with them so they can provide you with more details about your situation.
