Sense 2 | Disable Phone Notifications

How do I disable all the phone notifications for real? It looks like I have everything disabled. I denied giving permissions to my phone apps. Yet all my text messages and other notifications keep popping up on my Sense 2. It is annoying as hell, depleating my battery, and seems like a major security concern considering I DID NOT provide PERMISSON. The only thing that seems to work is turning on the DND mode, but that disables my reminders to move and I want those. I want my FitBit to be a tracker not a freakin phone on my wrist.

Hi @Mel_S. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details about this situation with your device.

Turning off notifications also turns off goal celebrations and reminders. For more information, see What are the reminders I see on my Fitbit device?

Please, go the the upper right corner and click on the gear icon, scroll down and in settings, push notifications make sure that all are unable.

Please, now go to the upper left corner and select your device> Notifications>App notifications and make sure that no one is selected.

I've already done that. But even though the notifications are disabled, they still come through unless I turn on Do Not Disturb. And Do Not Disturb disables my reminders. I WANT The FitBit reminders, but DON'T WANT my text messages and everything from my phone on my FitBit. It's so frustrating. I think I'm going to throw out this Sense 2 and just keep using my Blaze until it dies. The Blaze works right and I've been using it for years without pushing any of my phone notifications.

Hi @Mel_S - it may be an app bug, if you restarted the watch after turning everything off in the app and synced to register the change fully.

However if you want reminders to move only, try a clock face, such as SimpleClockPro, which does multiple reminders to move, fully configured in the clock face itself, that way you can use Do not disturb to block all notifications and keep reminders for the move hours you decide. They can also be silenced in the clock face.
