Sense 2 - Disappointing upgrade

First, I'll raise my hand here and admit that this is mostly my own fault. I really should have done some more indepth research into buying a Sense 2.

I cracked the screen on my Sense about 3 months ago. Decided to buy a Sense 2 during December. Such a disappointment. You would expect, the now google owned, second generation Sense to have more and not less

Google assistant removed (how does that make any "sense")

Snore detection removed (again, no "sense" in that)

Amazon Alexa on available (how does that make "sense" for a Google owned company)

My banks seem to not support google wallet with Fitbit but has worked fine for years on my pixel devices...

No Google maps.... Again, a Google company

Can't get the same watch face as I did as my Sense

That's just 6 things I have spotted the last few days.

A big software update needs to come in early 2023 with big features or this is the last Fitbit I buy... So disappointing

Hi @ShaneAhern - the things that were specifically removed are unlikely to be put back if there are updates, so that is wishful thinking.

If you are unhappy with the watch, Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one. If you return it, you can get the cheaper Sense original.

Also very unhappy with Sense 2 I have been a loyal supporter of Fitbit since they began with the ONE however they have lost their way. If I had listened to the man in the store I rather than remaining loyal to the brand I would probably have a Garmin instead and not be so disappointed.
