For the past month my Fitbit gps has failed or has been weird and/or doesn't sync my runs to Strava (yes, it is set up to do that). The last time my Sense 2 tracked my run - GPS functioning accurately and syncing accurately with Strava was April 1, 2025. However there were a few runs where it just didn't track - March 27 in Central Park for example. If it has "tracked" it and synced with Strava, it has been totally WEIRD. For example I ran 4.5 miles in Albany, NY on Thursday, April 3, 2025 and the map showed that I ran from Albany, NY all the way to the Quebec border in 4.5 miles.
Or another example - a short run to Lake Champlain that says I just ran up and down my street apparently.
But my favorite is on March 19, 2025 when it tracked my run as happening in the middle of Nebraska. I went for a run in New York where I reside.
But mostly, it just hasn't been tracking my runs at all. I'm training for a 1/2 in May. It would be really nice to know what the what is going on and get it fixed soon.
This has been an ongoing problem with Fitbit. I reported similar problems about a year ago and it took a very long time of "looking into it" for a solution to google's problem.
