I have recently got a Sense 2 and find the GPS tracking is way off. When I do a timed walk and download the tcx file from the app and upload in to GPS website I find the Sense 2 is approximately 20% off - consistently recorded less km. Has anyone found this issue?

Hi
I have the same issue and I have an ongoing support conversation with Fitbit support. Unfortunately, my problem has been going on for months. Fitbit replaced my Sense 2 but it was exactly the same. Now Fitbit support just replies to my emails saying 'it is with their high level support'. I have asked for a refund but they have refused, I tried to compromise by suggesting a replacement Sense 1 or Versa 4 plus a years premium so the cost was similar to the Sense 2. They have refused and offered me 3 months of premium for free, what's the point in that if my Sense 2 is faulty. The way customer support has dealt with me has been terrible, I personally feel the Sense 2 is a faulty product.
I hope you have better luck with you Sense 2

I hope you get sorted, fitbit-support haven't treated me very well. They just say your issue has been taken to there higher level support and that's were it's been for ages, with no updates. All the best with your case.

Sounds like a good plan, I may walk away from Fitbit altogether after just over 9 years. All the best I hope you get your money back ok.

I'm also having issues with this. I walked around 61/2 miles yesterday, it told me I'd done under 2!! Today I walked just under 5 miles, told me I've done 1/2 mile. Won't connect to my GPS. It's worse than my old versa 3.

Hi.
To put it bluntly, the onboard GPS on the Sense 2 just isn't very good. As far as I understand it is mostly down to antenna placement, with the little plastic area around the heart rate sensor pointing to that being the location for the antenna. Obviously for something that requires good clear line of sight, this isn't ideal.
There are a couple of things you can do to try and improve tracking quality. The first is to wear the watch a little looser so that your wrist isn't obscuring the antenna as much, although this may affect heart rate quality.
The second and more preferable would be to enable the use of connected/phone GPS on the watch. This will require you to have your phone with you when you want to use GPS, but it will use the much better GPS on your phone and hopefully provide better quality tracking.
