It took me many tries, but I think I finally got the update installed on the Sense 2.
I've been restarting the pebble, now it's restarting itself, I've been changing watchface, restarting bluetooth on my phone, restarting my phone and removed the pebble from the app and from bluetooth. I'm trying to re-pair it now.
The pebble restarts, it shows the logo, the negative logo, repeats that sequence once or twice, then shows a red X. Then it shows the logo again and finally the watchface. It works normally for a few seconds, then starts superposing the four control pallette over the timer. Those two apps vie for control briefly, then the unit restarts again. It's not functional.
Is there some way to get a factory reset without access to the settings app?
---
I managed to change watchface and fight through the random glitching to get it to factory reset. This did not help, so I'm officially out of ideas. Watch still stuck in a reboot loop.

I eventually managed a factory reset. It didn't work right away, but it worked eventually. I think I have a watch again!

OK, watch is still dark. FitBit support is offering me a discount on a new unit. Anyway, very bad experience with firmware update.

So, so wrong. I did not have a watch again for very long. it's been pretty black and won't even track sleep as it runs through battery so fast. Trying to install the knock-on update now. The 'Update' button doesn't respond when I touch it, but it didn't the first time 'round, either.
