I just realized I have been dealing with this for a year. But my Sense 2 regularly does a poor job at tracking my sleep. Sometimes it wil track 2 hours of a night then nothing else sometimes it will track everything up until midnight, sometimes everything after midnight. Anyone got a solution for this? I have factory reset, cleaned sensor side of the watch, adjusted sleep settings from sensitive to not and vice versa. What am I missing?

Hi @UNaballer Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you track your sleep with your Sense 2. Thank you for the steps you have tried prior to post here in the community.
If your sleep duration or the time you fell asleep seems inaccurate, Ensure your sleep setting is set to Normal.
For accurate sleep tracking, wear your device higher on your wrist. The band should feel secure but not too tight.
To adjust a sleep session’s start or end time, edit it in the Fitbit app.

I'm not very excited about the change in my title under the assumption that it makes the subject clearer. I associate "terrible" with something not good or inaccurate, and an adjective is still an adjective; yours just sounds nicer. I think I will be looking for a different brand.
My sleep setting has been on "normal" for the past six months. I realized a couple of months in that the "sensitive" setting wasn't doing me any favors.
Wearing it higher on my wrist means it will be there until I roll over for the first time or accidentally stuff my arm under my wife's pillow, so I'm not sure how that's a sustainable solution.
Editing my sleep time is not helpful to me. The whole point of having the tracker is to monitor my actual sleep. Sure, I could ask my wife what time I fell asleep and note that I woke up with my alarm in the morning, but then what's the point of buying a watch to track my sleep? A notebook would have been cheaper.

Hi @UNaballer, thank you for your response.
Regarding the change of the subject of this thread, it was modified in order for other users to find more easily .what is relevant to them. I appreciate your understanding.
By suggesting to edit the sleep time, i meant to give more accuracy to a sleep log already recorded. In fact, using the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app will only include your sleep pattern.
I understand your point of view about the suggestions provided. I invite you to read our help article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? below the section "Troubleshooting sleep". I appreciate your time in this process.
