I updated my Fitbit sense 2 and withing 24hours it was dead and would not hold a charge longer than 24 hours. I contacted the Fitbit/Google support and was told I needed to run a "battery test" charging my watch up to 100% followed by a sync and then let it drain to between 5% and 0% and sync again - and reconnect with support. When I went to sync between 5% and 0%, it would only flash the logo and a giant red X. Their update caused this error and my watch to no longer function but because I am 2 months beyond the year warranty I was offered a measly 35% off coupon. Their update caused my watch to become inoperable and I feel they should replace it, I didn't do it, they did! I stuck with Fitbit through their Ionic debacle when they were sending people replacements due to an overheating error. I was fooled into thinking they backed their products. I take very good care of my watches and there is no reason my Sense 2 should be inoperable after just 1 year especially when it was working just fine up until their update. I will not support a company that doesn't support me or back their product.
