Sense 2 - It won't charge and then a red X

My fitbit Sense 2 has always been perfect now all of a sudden it won't charge has flashing logo then a Red X seems alot of people are having this same problem  what is the answer can it be fixed I need it for medical reasons really missing it please reply for a solution

Hi there @Countryrose!

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you so much for letting us know that your Sense 2 shows a red X and is no longer charging.

I suggest you try to do the following:

  • In the Fitbit app, from the Today tab, tap the devices icon and then tap on "Sense 2" and then "Sync Now".
  • An update banner should appear.
  • If the banner doesn't appear, tap on the devices icon and again on "Sense 2" then "Gallery".
  • The app should show a pop up.
  • Afterwards, try to restart your Sense 2: press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

I performed all the suggested actions and nothing worked so after charging
the watch for several hours I pushed the on button and held it and the logo
came up and I continued to press the button then the red X came up and I
still didn't release the button then a small logo came up with a line under
it and IT TOOK AWHILE FOR THE LINE TO GO ALL THE WAY ACCROSS AND THEN I was
directed to go to the Fitbit app on my phone followed all the instructions
and it's back to normal with all my data still there for the last 2 yrs. I
AM HAPPY I HAVE MY WATCH BACK.
