I was told to migrate from Fitbit to Google account. After the migration, my watch is updated with the latest version, then no data is sync'ed anymore. Not even the steps taken nor active zone, nothing is available in the watch. I even did a factory reset, and deleted the app on iPhone and reinstall it, still the same problem. Sigh, this is such a waste of time when Fitbit/Google didn't even test it out properly!
I had to revert back to my Fitbit account and everything worked flawlessly thereafter. Very very upset such a poor experience with the migration. I swear I'm not going to migrate again. If not, I will bill my hourly charges to Google for their lack of testings!

Hi @Lightning800, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with the migration of your Fitbit account to your Google account.
Please note that once you move Fitbit to your Google Account, you can not undo this action. If you were able to return to your Fitbit account, that means that the migration wasn't fulfilled.
I recommend that you read our help article How to move a Fitbit Account to a Google Account > My Fitbit to a Google Account.
If you still find trouble with the migration process, you may find useful the section "Troubleshooting" in the same article. I appreciate your time in this process.

I did exactly as what you guys have shown in the short video. It should only take a couple of minutes, yet I spent hours and was unsuccessful.
My time is much more precious than trying to fiddle with an unsuccessful migration. Furthermore, I bought my Sense 2 just a couple of weeks ago.
I will wait till you guys get more complaints and fix your problems before I give another try. Or I give up and buy another watch. My time is much more expensive than the watch itself.

I’m in a similar situation but Google claim they can’t help and my only option is to create another Google account for my Fitbit. I don’t want yet another account which would only be to monitor my Fitbit!! I have no confidence it would work anyway as the process seems deeply flawed. I’ll key monitoring this thread as well as my own in case they manage to come up with better options otherwise it’s off to an alternative non-Google device.

Hi @Hammerpgh and @Lightning800, thank you for your responses.
I'm sorry you are having trouble with the migration process. I understand your time is precious.
If you did succeed to migrate your Fitbit account but the wrong Google Account was linked to Fitbit during migration, my best advice is to contact Customer Support. They count with better resources to assist you further.

That isn’t my issue. I have Google account that somehow has a Fitbit account linked to it that isn’t mine. As a result I cannot migrate my actual Fitbit account to it. Google support tell me they cannot unlink the incorrect Fitbit account.

Since this Google account is under your email address let's try to log into it. You want robust the Forgot password option. You will then receive instructions to reset the password.
Reset password - Log in - Now let's Close the Account
As mentioned, you will have to wait at least 7 days
Then you should be able to move to a Google login. If after 8 days it doesn't allow you to move, contact support.
To delete account
To move to a Google login, watch this video
