Hello All,
I got my Sense 2 for $80 from the recent Amazon sale, so perhaps don't have as much skin in the game, and I previously had a Versa 1, which I liked, but switched to Garmin watches for the last 3 yrs. So this is my first experience with Fitbit for some time. Yes. the quality of the Sense 2 software is shocking. I could go on about the long list of problems, from no 3rd party apps to not being able to change from C to F in the weather app. However, my 2c is that I find it hard to believe that a company like Google would advertise "coming soon" features (maps, etc.) and then not follow through. Not because they are a terrific company, but because they are likely to face lawsuits if they don't follow through. I just don't think they are that reckless.
So I'm waiting for the update before sending back the Sense 2 to Amazon. I simply cant see a world where Google release a watch and doesn't support it at all. Doesn't make sense to me, and their name is tied to Fitbit.
Bad form on releasing a half-baked watch, and maybe I'll eat my words, but I think better days will come.
