I'm 72 years old and go to the gym every day for a 1 to 2 hour workout. I do 30 to 40 sets every session.
Prior to the "update", I was able to check my heart rate after a set and let it go down to about 80 BPM before I started the next set..
Now, I have to wait about 15 to 30 seconds for the
BPM display on the watch to update. Sometimes it drops from 90 to 62 in the blink of an eye.
This is not the product I bought nor is it the product I need.

Hi, @PetePia , I am impressed with your gym dedication! (I am only a couple of years behind you, but probably a wee bit slower at the gym…).
It is fair to say that the heart rate detection on the Fitbit can be a bit “laggy”, but I don’t think 15 - 30 seconds to update is unusual, and I think that it is unlikely to be related to the update.
Also, it may be, that in order to get the best HR info during a workout you will need to wear your Fitbit a little higher on your wrist and a little tighter.
