Sense 2 band that tucks under is literally the worst

I just paid $200 for a watch that I cannot wear because the band is non-functional. When I put it on, it pinches my skin. If I need to adjust the size throughout the day, I have to take it off completely. It is not conducive to my needs.

Sad to hear that you're having an issue comfortably wearing your Sense 2. Not knowing your wrist size I'd suggest trying the alternative sized band that is included. I'd also like to point out that there other bands available that follow a more conventional construction like the Sports Band for example. All of them can be found here:

@lildalb agree. I hate those bands for the very same reason. It's not only Fitbit that came up with such a stupid solution but it seems like it's quite a significant trend among fitness trackers manufacturers. I suppose you may look for a third-party strap that works like a normal strap.
