Is it not possible to choose multiple mails and messenger app to get alert from. Is there a way to go around this? I would like to have alert on for all my mails and messages.

Hi @Bkei - this may be possible - click profile photo => Device photo => Notifications. There you will find App notifications where you can choose any app to notify you if the phone and app are generating notifications in the phone status bar.
